San Antonio Manufacturers Association Launches Podcast Series “Lead with Me”

Manufacturing is a leading force in U.S industry providing careers and economic development through innovation and impact. Who are the leaders and creators behind the rapid growth of manufacturing and where is the industry going in the future?

“Lead with Me,” hosted by Doug Carlberg, is a new podcast series produced by the San Antonio Manufacturers Association (SAMA). It features industry professionals, entrepreneurs, and innovators that share their experiences, wisdom, and insights regarding all things manufacturing and beyond.

Each month, “Lead with Me” will give podcast subscribers an inside look into a manufacturing professional’s life story and key moments that made them who they are today.

Episode 1, released on June 20, 2024, features Amy L. Gowder, President and Chief Executive Officer of GE Aerospace Defense & Systems. Gowder’s leadership roles previously included CEO of Aerojet Rocketdyne; President and General Manager of Commercial Engine Solutions for Lockheed Martin; and as Vice President and General Manager for Lockheed Martin’s Training and Logistics Solutions in Rotary and Mission Systems.

Hosted by the 2024 SAMA Board of Directors Chairman and President of Carlberg Consulting Group Doug Carlberg, “Lead with Me” is produced by SAMA.
