Meet the New Chairman of the San Antonio Manufactures Association (SAMA)

The Carlberg Consulting Group LLC. (CCG) is pleased to announce that its President Doug Carlberg has been installed as the 2024 Chairman of the San Antonio ManufacturersAssociation (SAMA) Board of Directors at its January membership Luncheon.

Carlberg has over 40 years of experience in manufacturing and volunteering on nonprofit boards. ing Prior to forming CCG, he was President and CEO of M2 Global Technology Ltd, a service-disabled, veteran-owned, tier one Department of Defense aerospace supplier. M2 Global was recognized by the Small Business Administration as the 2022 “National Government Small Subcontractor of the Year.” He said, “Manufacturing is a leading economic driver here, providing careers and a growing economic impact. Thanks
to its Board of Directors, members, and partners, SAMA is positioned to provide leadership to the industry. After more than
three decades of service to SAMA, I am honored to lead its Board this year.”

Dan Yoxall, SAMA ’s President and CEO, noted that “With deep regional and national experience as a manufacturer, entrepreneur,
thought leader and longtime SAMA volunteer, Doug Carlberg has answered the call to lead SAMA’s Board as the association moves
forward strategically to support manufacturers in the dynamic economy of South Central Texas.” Carlberg has held leadership roles in some of the leading North America companies, such as General Electric, Hughes Aircraft and L3 Harris. He has served on the boards of The National Ski Patrol, The Association for Manufacturing Excellence and The Shingo Institute.
